The site is being updated with a new winter theme to match our next session, and we need some awesome sim pictures for our header! If you have a screenshot from a story of yours, (Or any other screenshot you like) that has a "wintery" feel, then PM it to Micky and we'll see if we can get it in the header.

SILC is gearing up for it's second session next January! The story release dates are January 21st to January 31st, 2012. The site will be updated in the coming weeks with all of the new information.

In other news:

As we're sure many of you know, SILC is on a budget. We are trying to upgrade to a premium webs hosting account to make the site better suited for visitors and create an overall better experience for our participants.

We've started a donation page at the bottom of the left and right sidebars. You can see full information on the campaign in the link at the left sidebar. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, contact Micky via PM.

The awards ceremony is written out and ready to go, but we are having some space issues on the site. For a temporary solution, we will post the awards on a seperate blog at Wordpress.com in the time perioid of Sunday through Tuesday.

The site can still hold more pictures, members, posts, ect. We have just reached our limit on pages we can have. The admins are working towards a permanent solution.

The awards ceremony was early this morning, and our lovely photographers managed to capture it all for you. There are over 100 pictures to sort through, so have some patience with us!

Including time for sorting and all of our shameless logo pasting, (Plus some little things here and there), the awards ceremony will be broadcasted late next week. The ceremony includes the announcement of all awards, with special award presentations by our super secret guest presenter!

HINT: Our photographers had trouble finding our guest presenter, since they blend right into the SILC Library carpet. 

All awards have been determined and all the polls have been wrapped up. The only speed bump in our way now is the game itself. We've been trying to get in-game long enough to take pictures of everyones sims so we could make a little story about the ceremony, but it seems the latest patch hasn't been treating us too well.

We'll keep on trying and we'll get it eventually, but if anyone would rather just have the awards posted in simple black and white, please comment below.

The SILC staff have been working on awards, and we're getting closer to the wrap-up. We thought it'd be nice to have a little awards ceremony using sims, via a story! It'll take a bit for set-up and photos after the initial awards are decided on, but some very special simmers might make a guest appearance
